Infrastructure
fortrabbit is an abstraction layer on top of AWS. Thus a lot of costs are related to the infrastructure. See our AWS usage details for more.
Sub processors
Billing, code collaboration, knowledge base, project management, support - an umbrella of different services is used to provide our customers with the service we do. See the sub processor list for more details.
Marketing
Our marketing budget is small compared to other more marketing driven hosting providers. We currently do:
- Content generation, working with external freelancers
- Partnerships with software vendors
Donations
- Sponsorships for FOSS
- Project Earth
- Atmosfair
