DreamHost is one of the better classical shared hosting services from the US, Los Angeles. They promote cheap and fast WordPress hosting with a (unrealistic) 100% uptime guarantee. DreamHost has roots with the Ceph and OpenStack. We don't have first hand experience.
Why not?
If you have a no frills website from the US and you are really into shared hosting, maybe DreamHost is a better choice, compared to GoDaddy, A2 Hosting and others.
